I know we are all short on time, and there never seems to be enough hours in a day, but I have a challenge for you today...
Take time to put a little positivity in someone else's day, today.
Fight the urge to brush it off as an inconvenience, and make the decision to do it! Even 2 minutes can make a difference! Here are a couple suggestions:
Talk to a neighbor you haven't/ don't usually talk to -- make eye contact.
- introduce yourself, talk about the weather, compliment their yard or outfit, or just simply say "hello"
Write a note/ card for someone you care about -- yes, I mean SNAIL MAIL! :)
- let mom, friend, sibling, grandma, whoever, know that you're thinking of them... everyone gets excited when they get something in the mail that isn't a bill
Anonymously drop off flowers or a treat for someone.
- it can be a neighbor, friend, coworkers, school office or teacher's lounge, police or fire station, volunteer group, etc.
Think about how nice you would feel, to be on the receiving end of these (or other) positive gestures... you have the opportunity to provide those feelings for someone else! Go for it!
Remember - these gestures often have a ripple effect! :)
